On July 18, 2026, Astoria will join together to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the 100th birthday of the Astoria Column.
For a century, this iconic landmark has towered above the Columbia River, welcoming visitors, inspiring imagination, and telling the stories of Oregon’s past through its stunning, hand-painted murals.
The Centennial Celebration will be a joyful tribute to history, culture and community honoring 100 years of exploration, creativity, and regional pride.
